Esther Vroegindweij (1982) plays electric and acoustic violin with The Mirror Conspiracy. Esther is a an interior designer with a subtle and artistic taste. Growing up in Rotterdam, Esther enjoys playing in different musical contexts. With the pop-noir sounds of The Bullfight she recently released a second album called 'Stranger than the night'. Occasionally she enjoys the more classical string trio Krejza. Esther enjoys travelling and reading about different arts. She joined The Mirror Conspiracy in 2007 and has developed their improvisational approach, adding more melancholy and feeling to the musical palet. Esther finds her inspiration listening to Philip Glass and Yann Tiersen, but also Tosca, Sophie Hunger and Portico Quartet.
